This post is a week late, but we've been out of town all week, so I'm running a little behind on everything these days. I took these pictures on my lunch break the day before we left.
It's my birthday again, Momma?
Yep, you get to have one every month!

Wait a second. Doesn't that mean I should be on my 8th cake by now?
Maybe, but since you don't like food, you probably wouldn't like cake either.
True...food is icky.
Are you sure, Momma? Cake isn't like food. Its more like...well, CAKE!
I'm sure. You have to wait a 4 more months to have a birthday cake.
Is that all?!?! I'm such a big girl, Momma!
Look! I can almost crawl.
See! Now, if I could just get my feet behind me...

So what is happening this month?
She loves to smile, giggle, squeal, and play.
She loves to sit and play with toys and look at books.
She loves to "read." If you aren't reading to her, she tries to read the books herself by babbling.
She loves to stand in her bouncer, and she can spin around and play with all the toys and stay entertained for a long time.
She still loves her baths and her bath toys.
Our pool broke while we were in Seattle, so she didn't get to swim until we went to South Carolina this week. She loved the pool. She was a little scared of the ocean. The loud waves and strong winds freaked her out a little.
Her hair is long enough for pigtails and ponytails. It was very curly in the humidity this week. She still has a section in the back that is stick- straight.
She still loves the dogs and kicks her legs super fast with excitement when they run under her when I carry her around.
She loves giving kisses and hugs, but sometimes she licks your mouth...which is probably how Ryan and I both ended up with her cold this week.
She LOVES her daddy.
She still isn't eating much. She'll take a few bites here and there, but almost always ends up gagging and sometimes vomiting. But as you can see, it hasn't hindered her growth at all ;).
She is still in size 3 diapers.
Size 9 month clothes.
I can't believe her next size will be 12 months and it's coming fast. Her 9 month sleepers are going to be too short in a few weeks, I'm afraid. Where does time go?
She is still drooling and chewing on everything, but has no teeth yet. I had a dream the other night that we woke up and she had 4 lower teeth. But it was just a dream.
She is back to waking up twice a night most nights...Usually between 12 and 1am, and again between 4 and 5am. She goes to bed by 8:30 most nights, but tonight she was out by 7:45.
She still loves to sleep with her hands behind her head. She occasionally rolls herself on her side to sleep too.
She loves other kids and had tons of fun with her cousins this weekend. She loves giving Clara kisses and chewed on her sunglasses for a while too. Cora wasn't too sure about Rylie, but they played with toys on the floor for a bit.
She will be meeting some new friends this week at a new "school." And she will have visit from Nonny and Pop Pop all the way from Alabama!
It will be another big week!
