It's always something...

Well, let me take a moment to complain. You know whenever one thing goes wrong...EVERYTHING goes wrong. So first, the air conditioner in my car is broken. It was getting weak last fall, but this spring it is completely gone. It could be something simple, but we are afraid to get a giant service bill for an AC that ultimately can't be fixed. I guess with the rising temperatures, we are going to have to bite the bullet and take it in to the shop.

Secondly and most devastatingly, the economy is HORRIBLE (in case you've been living in a hole for the past year), and we are feeling it worse than ever with the loss of Ryan's job today. This is a new chapter and a new test for our financial status and our marital status...for richer or poorer... (the only problem is: we were poor even when he had a job, haha). Thankfully, we do have enough savings to get us through a couple months, and since I'm done with school, I will be able to pick up extra shifts to hopefully stretch that savings for a few more months if need be. Keep us in your prayers.

Finally, last night, my computer caught a bug. It has taken over my desktop and a couple other functions, but as you can see, I can still use the Internet, and more importantly all off my files/pictures are still there. We are going to take it to the computer doctor (AKA Ryan's friend, Justin) next week, if he accepts the challenge.

Now, enough of the sad stuff. We are headed to the beach tonight. Thankfully Grandma and Grandpa have a great place for us to stay just so we can get away for a few days. After all, Sunday is our first anniversary, and we are blessed to be able to celebrate it at all. We have so much to be thankful for, and I don't want these hard times to overshadow that fact.

I hope to take lots of pictures at the beach and have some of them posted when my computer gets fixed.

One more week!

The end is near...for my time in school that is...I will be finishing up my clinical hours this week, then all I have to do is submit my final paperwork and I should have my degree in May! I have had a difficult time juggling everything over the past few months but I'm sure it will be worth it someday. Currently, I have no job prospects, but it will be mid-summer before I will be able to take my "boards" anyway, so I still have some time.
